How do I verify my child's eligibility?
During online registration, you will be required to verify that you are within the CLL boundaries and verify your child's date of birth. The easiest way to do this is by uploading an image of your utilities bill and your child's birth certificate.
What if we move outside of the boundary during the season or next year?
Regulation II of the rules and regulation for Little League Baseball and Softball allows a player who has previously qualified under residency for a league and played in the league to remain in the league after having the moved to a new residence or school.

As long as the player lived within the boundary and played with the league, they may continue service with the league if the player’s address or school location changed, the league’s boundary has changed, or the player is a sibling of a player who previously qualified for II(d).

SCHEDULE & TIMING

What is the time commitment? How many practices and games per week?
The commitment will vary by age, typically it is 2-3 days per week, excluding drive time.
T-ball and Rookie division will practice/ have games 2x per week (practices on Monday or Tuesday and games on Saturday)
The other divisions will have practices 3x week. When games start practices will be held 1x with 2 games each week.
All divisions will have Saturday games and a one weekday game.

TEAM PLACEMENT

I have more than one child, can they play together on the same team?
If the siblings are in the same division, yes.  However, we will not place children above or below their age division if their skill level does not allow.

How will my child be selected to a team, and when will the teams be announced?
Currently we follow a draft procedure each season, with the exception of Majors and above. Those divisions currently have legacy (grandfathered) teams that stay together each season.

How many players are on a Little League team?
This depends on the number of players that sign up. Our ideal teams will have 10-12 players each. We may add more as needed if we cannot fill another team.

Will my player get to play with their classmates/friends?
We do not place children on teams by request outside of T-ball.  However, there is always a chance that they will be drafted to the same team.

We do various activities to raise money through out each season.  We do not currently require parents to contribute a specific amount.

Yes, each season during the registration of your child you are able to opt in to be a coach.  During the team creation process the board pulls all of those that volunteered to coach and votes for who will be the head coaches for the season.

Am I required as a parent to volunteer?
No, you will hear about many volunteer activities and positions due to the league being run and maintained by volunteers. But it is not a requirement for your child to play, although greatly appreciated!

How does the team and/or local league communicate with parents? Does the league have a social media presence?
Stay up to date by following the Centerton Little League Facebook Page. There is also a GroupMe app for parents:
